most of the time i can see places and images in my dreams then later in reality. and VERY, VERY, rarely, i can read a person's thought. this is stupid, but can i have a psychic power?

l have found more psychic phenomena, happening to me as l go through this life by, being true to myself in speaking truth, loving those who are less fortunate and everybody and focusing on the space within [like your third eye]
The third eye, is a physic connection between your mind and other levels of understanding/reality. It comes to me as a spinning translucent disk in the middle of my forehead. If l blink when it's happening rapidly, it increases for a few seconds. It has become so strong once, l consciously astral traveled out my body into the sky and clouds once. Plus, another time,l went astral flying over a desert in Africa till l came to a giant [2km wide] golden dome, which l later read was a special place of learning.[shambala]
I don't think you can switch on special powers unless you work on everything in your life to become more true out of love for life itself and not self.
Don't worry, it will find you when you are ready to tune in to it,. Happens mostly, when l am most open and can feel the difference in energy from it and my regular thoughts. It's always a leap of faith and awareness. Happens by itself and then l have to recognize it as such.

hello I'm a teen seeking to strengthen my already strong psychic power, I've been searching for someone who may have some liberal ideas. I've read almost every book on the subject out there and the Bible only says to meditate this can't be it.
I'm not a spiritist or a medium I've read the bible cover to cover and all I can find about such a thing as I have, the spiritual gifts I'm pretty wise for a kid and knowledge I dare say there's much I can't answer. keep in mind I'm not claiming to be jesus or whatever and true that only God knows the future but does that mean he doesn't show people? I am psychic and it is from God no person could tell me different. thank you for the kinder answers but to those who are crazy or those who think that you can't be christian and psychic sad for you cause God's given every person some psychic power just ask corinthians.
let me see if I can answer this in such a manner that doesn't appear to be anything other than informative. Psychic is not really the word for this situation. Psychic is the carnal method of knowing the future via fortune telling methods, actively controlling dream states, TM and meditation (a totally different kind than what the BIBLE speaks of), astral projection or any method that you set out to bring about of your own free will. This is witchcraft.
The gift of dreams, visions and discernment cannot be developed in the manner that you are seeking to develop your abilities that you have at this moment. GOD reveals what HE wants us to know when HE wants us to know it. We walk by faith and not by sight, therefore to always know ahead of time what is going to happen would mean that we were walking by sight instead of in faith.
Before you possibly get offended by what I have said, I would like to expound a bit. My family has a tendency to "see" things in the future. As a teenager I did as well. Many times I would see things and they would come to pass, and because I wasn't a Christian at that point in time, I had this power trip thing going on. When I became a Christian, I was admonished by the HOLY GHOST on this issue. I questioned where the ability that I did have at that point in time came from, and it was revealed that I had inherited the ability from the blood line of a witch who was in my family and who was burned at the stake during the burning times. My ability that I had at that point in time was not GOD given, but an inherited demon from an ancestor. Remember that the BIBLE says that the sins of the fathers are visited down to the fourth generation.
I prayed and asked GOD to sever that bloodline tie, sealing it forever with the blood of JESUS CHRIST. HE did.
Now, I have the gift of discernment of spirits, the gift of prophesy, visions and dreams. The difference is, I do not seek these things for my own knowledge, GOD shows me what HE wants me to know when HE wants me to know it. I am show for specific purposes, not just to give me a sense of superiority over someone else because I know their future or even their life secrets. GOD shows what HE shows in order to provide confirmation to others, to give a warning to others, and to prepare...and if a movement like this is truly of HIM, the HOLY GHOST will bear witness.
I only ask that you really pray about what you are asking here, be open to GOD in what HE tells you, and be willing to submit to HIS will in this matter. Otherwise, to develop these things on your own is nothing more than witchcraft.

Do you think there is such a thing as true Psychic power or ESP?
I am not talking about the people you see on TV, which I think are all frauds.

I have heard some experts say that mathematically speaking, it is normal to have psychics who are correct in their predictions, even many times in a row.
But sometimes I wonder if some people really have this power.

I believe God gives many gifts but I also believe we are to be extremely careful where those gifts come from and how we use them.

I was watching a magician making something levitate and I know it was an illusion but it made me wonder if people actually can make thing move without any sort of real physical contact.
There are studies in paranormal psychology but I think the verdict is still out.
I do think this is possible as I have had many experiences with telepathic thought. Some say I am just highly perceptive, which may be true, but there are some that just cannot be explained, even with perception. I have often called people who I knew were thinking of me and surprised them. They say, "I was just thinking about you" and I say, "I know that's why I called."
Not telekinesis, as is your question, but certainly on the same order. Just because humans don't know how or cannot prove existence does not mean it doesn't exist. Just means we can't measure it yet. The world was flat 600 years ago. Now we know better.
