Well, people will have different tastes when it comes to stuffs. And I would say just use pokemons that you really like, as it makes gaming more fun.
I agree to the person above me, Dark Pulse for Umbreon if you wanna use him as attacking Umbreon rather than the common and very effective "baton-passer/wish-passer/tank-staller" versions.
I have a Sceptile too, as he is faster than Jumpluff and learns Leaf Storm, Focus Blast (for Normal and Steel). But it does only 30% to Blissey.
Metagross has nothing to gain for using "Calm Mind" beside from boosting his Sp.def if you use him as tank. I highly suggest Meteor Mash as he receives STAB or Earthquake.
Teach Togekiss Flamethrower or Thunderbolt as his ability "Serene Grace" makes it possible to inflict status. I preffer Flamethrower as it can cripple physical attackers if they get a burn.
