Can a smart person please define what psychic means please?

Water signs are supposed to be psychic. What does that mean?
I want it detailed. Not something like Madame Serra with a crystal ball or something.
Please!! i want a better answer than the first answer.

well psychics can intuitively pick up the energy around a person; what is not physically observable but still there, and this energy has sort of a cause and effect strand in it; meaning if a psychic can intuitively understand "the cause", the particular coding of the energy then the psychic can predict the foretold, effect; and usually it is predictable because one does not usually change the energy that fixed into their soul; unless they're enlightened in some way. The energy I'm talking about is the fixed constitution of thoughts or mentality; how we think about things, will determine what will happen with those things; for ex. if we want to earn a million bucks, and we know the key to it, a psychic can pick up intuitively if the key is correct; that we will earn a million bucks in the future. Thus, a psychic is often more intuitively sensitive then non-psychics.

About water signs specifically; water signs are empathetic; empathy is actually a psychic form; in fact, anything "outside" of our usual personalities, that we can feel about others is empathetic; you are empathetic if you already know how the other person feels at the moment, without going through the same experience or having gone through it before. Pisces is a fluid sign/a mutable energy; it does not have a fixed self or a fixed way of thinking, thus it can be empathetic and take on other selves, easily imagine other ppl's shoes. Scorpio is a fixed sign but it is internalized, which means it stays in spot, but penetrates inwards, going deeper and deeper in the same spot inwards. This means unlike other signs who do penetrate like this or goes inwards; those signs can't see something in details, for what its substance really is; in this way scorpio is psychic; it can spot nuances that others overlook. Sorry but I'm not too informed about Cancer; because none of my personal planets are in cancer

edit: it is strange how chainlightening proclaims himself to be logical and rational but his answer is full of subjective self-proposed opinions, which he doesn't notice at all.
