How are psychics paid? How are they recruited and are they tested?


I am doing research for a short story involving a psychic and I really want to bring an air of authenticity to the piece. (I would specifically like to know about the phone psychic business.)

I would love to talk to someone that works for a well-known psychic company or has experience with calling one, such as California Psychics.

Okay, I'll make this as simple as I can. All "psychics" are bogus. The only talents they possess are those of great intuition, observation, acting and some are well practiced in techniques such as cold reading. There is no test or initiation you must go under to "become" a psychic. You just set up a business and the suckers will come to you like flies to light.

Don't get me wrong though. While I maintain my stance that there is no such thing as psychics, there are quite a few of these people who legitimately believe they possess these amazing abilities and think they are truly providing a service to people and don't operate with the knowledge and intention of swindling people out of their money.

Are phone psychics legit?


I called a phone psychic because I have been v. worried lately and she predicted financial problems and the demise of my marriage. I have been a nervous wreck ever since.
I tried to stay as neutral as possible during the reading so that I did not influence her answers. Although I wanted a general reading she insisted that I ask her questions which made me a bit suspicious. She also did not seem inclined to keep me on the phone. I checked her reviews and everyone said she was a great reader and nice person but she left me completely unsettled.

There are legit phone psychics just like legit psychics you would visit in person. Most psychics set up in business are just that. In business. I think the phone variety probably have a higher rate of phonies if you will and are more for entertainment value. Sorry Dionne.

Can a phone psychic read the same as a psychic in person?


I have heard that psychics can tap into yourself over the phone as well as in person. I find that hard to believe. Doesn't a psychic have to see the angels, and energy, and the aura? I am confused about this. I really need a psychic, but I am unsure about using the internet...

But this is normal to me, as I expand my own energy to access Higher Knowledge and to read their energy. However, be careful with your selection; make sure that you have a reputable psychic. You'd be surprised at some of these big, commercial places and who they hire.
