psychic or what? PLEASE HELP!?

i am asking this for a friend.... he feels like he is blessed with a cursed gift. he recieves messages through reading of books, mostly television, and sometimes radio that seem to be from some "unknown" source such as the other side. they are real because sometimes it seems he is pointed in certain directions. we are wondering if he maybe has some sort of psychic ability that he has not learned how to tap into.
he went to mental health and they have no answers... not schizo....doesnt need meds. he is a normal functioning father of 4 and has been dealing with this for atleast 10 yrs and he is 30.
please no rude ppl.... this is a serious question.

Possibly, you don't give many details about what exactly he recieves from the other side. There is a very good chance he is psychic, and it's nothing to freak out about. Try looking farther into this, seeing if the messages he recieves can predict anything or tell him something significant.

okay heres a little background information -
Jared Mooney - He's immortal, a doctor, very solemn and anatyical, shy and smart
Blaise Du Zell - his real name is Orville but he hates it, he is a billionaire vampire, he own half of the city (haven't got a name yet) is a keen party-goer, roguish, often the source of humour
Iris Morgan (not sure on second name) - is Psychic, clumsy, is homeless, very nervous, has feelings for Jared.

Jared Mooney- I can see him having jet black hair and amber eyes that light up his whole face, pale skin, wears glasses, and always has a grin on his lips
Blaise Du Zell- He has light blonde hair and rudy red eyes, olive skin tone, always the type of man to wear suits
Iris Morgan- Long straight auburn hair, with cat-like hazel eyes, has paler skin than Jared and I can see here with a nervous expression on her face and is always blushing.
