Need opinions: Who/what do you think psychics and mediums are?


So my friends just got a reading from a reputable medium who accurately described and named people from her life. I have no doubt there are authentic psychics and mediums out there. But I am concerned about who they are and where they get their power from. How is it possible for people to have such powers? Is it part of the occult? Are they just born that way and why? What does everyone think?

most are frauds and they use cold readings to trick people. People never realize they are giving away information either. Have you ever heard someone go on raving about how horrible this medium was? No? Thats because nobody makes a big deal of it, people expect them to be wrong. So a medium does like 50 people and gets 1 right and its the only one you hear about. Scam artists!

actually, I went with my cousin, who had some apartment issues and was afraid to go alone.so we together to psychic--she told a crap, and happened opposite.i.e. my cousin lost her apartment, when psychic told she wouldn't and even will make some $ on renting out.

Would like to know from experience or word of mouth? I've heard of Margaret Solis, an Elaine from Bellshill and one in the Savoy? Anyone been or heard anything about these people?!

A higher judge of some sort (or maybe demonic ; () - can tweak my conscousness slightly - i was partially psychic back in december and sort of want to be left in a partial state if possible for perspective (i am lying or not ; ) )

Since these kinds of predictions or visions are impossible to prove, no answer you could get would be the least reliable even if psychics do exist.

But I'm still tempted to give you my 2 cents on your question.

I believe everyone has a goal in life and that goal always tends towards becoming a better person on one or more aspect. Based on that, you should probably try to find what you think would make you a better person and how you can build your life around that.

With this principle, even if psychic abilities don't exist or life has no real meaning, you'll probably get somewhere and get a feeling of accomplishment from it.

well if that true then why not ask these dead people what its like on the other side, why not ask them if they saw god, why dont mediums have all the knowledge of what happens when we die???? why dont people that go to these mediums to talk to loved ones ask these questions?

All the mediums are like the WWE and professional actors. They put a good show on for you and then relieve you of the hard earned money in your pocket. It's all a hoax.

Do you believe medium/psychics really speak to the dead?


If you believe in the bible then is it right to belive mediums talk to the dead? I do believe there are demons on earth. I've read that mediums are just talking to demons that transformed themself to look like a certain deceased person. If you believe in God shouldn't you believe what the bible says happens after death? Just wondering other people's opinions. Thanks

I believe they are talking to the devil & his demons & messengers.

God has a place to put people who die. Those redeemed by the blood of the lamb go to heaven. These are part of the 1st resurrection. The second death has no authority over them.

Those who haven't been redeemed by the blood go to a place of rest with other dead, to a place where the dead are in the sea, or to a place where the dead are in hell fire. All these will be part of the 2nd resurrection, where people are judged according to their works. And those whose names aren't found in the books of life will be thrown into the lake of fire, the second death.

If you question where your loved ones went after they died, the best thing to do is to ask God in Jesus name. God will answer. If you go to mediums, God isn't in it because it is superpowers other than God. It is idolatry.

How many medium eggs are 5 large ones?


I've my boyfriend's parents coming over in a bit for dinner and I'm not sure if there's a big difference between medium eggs and large eggs.

5 large eggs, says the recipe. Can I use 5 medium or should I add one more medium egg?
I'm cooking a flourless chocolate cake. It's supposed to be really easy so I'm hoping I can't eff this up.
Why is it that I can spot a tiny flaw in a contract and save my client several million, but I can't cook?

It really wouldn't matter at all because in most recipes eggs are used to keep things held together otherwise it may crumble and fall a part into pieces very easily, but this would depend on what your cooking.
But i'd go for 6 medium eggs. They said large eggs for a reason :)

How long to bake medium pork chops after browning?


I have some medium sized pork chops (not thin, but not real thick either) that I browned and then topped with a sauce. I have them covered in the oven at 375 degrees. How long do you think they should stay in the oven? I have a tendency to over-cook pork and make it dry.

oh no more than 15 20 minutes in a preheated oven though depending on how hot your own gets, i usually will do mine on 350 degrees.
