Firstly there is a difference between Psychic and Mediumship skills, one gives information about the sitter and one communicates with spirit around the sitter (in very simple terms!). Go to your local Spiritualist Church (Centre) and enquire about their Development Circle, they will point you in the right direction (if in the UK check out snu.org.uk for your nearest Church).

I've been told I need psychic protection?


More times than once I've been told I soak up other peoples energies and I need to read up on psychic protection. I'm not intuitive or psychic in that I need to shield myself in that sense I'm just very sensitive, I guess.

I've read up on bubbles and white lights and it seems too much work as I am not in that much need of help. Are there any easier ways to do this?
Mar C....interesting you mentioned water. I don't have a problem with leaky pipes but I just got several psychic readings done and they all told me I had water coming out of EVERYWHERE! lol. That's interesting....

I have the same "gift". I call it a gift now, but have not always felt that way about it. I soak up other people's stuff & feel their pain as if it were my own. This can be very draining & unhealthy.
The first thing that I think helped me was to be conscious of where I am & what's going on. For instance if I know I'm going to Wal-Mart then I first make the conscious effort to go in with calmness & patience just thinking of a pink shield of love around me.
Even if someone runs into me with their basket or is just rude, blow it off. There are a lot of different types of energies all in a small space at a place like Wal-Mart & this is the place that I hated to go to because of my sensitivity.
Learn about boundaries & how to choose what you will & won't allow in your space.
It is all about energy, so if you can learn about energy & maybe about chakras & clearing your space that may help too.
If you are sensitive, you are probably more in tune or intutive then you think.
I also had some underlying rage issues that went unaddressed for a long time. (Even tho I constantly worked on self help stuff).
I know this question may seem very wierd, but do you have a lot of issues with water, not being scared of it, but like leaky faucets, running toilet water, leaky pipes , washing machine issues?
If not, keep in mind for future. Water represents emotion. I have had many leaky water outlets. It is usually something I need to pay attention to.

How many people reached a point in psychic development where they reached a plateau?


My second psychic question... How many people were steadily developing and improving their psychic abilities and then reached a plateau where they no longer steadily improved, or gained new abilities?

I believe this may be a normal stage in psychic development, and I wanted to get an idea how many others had similar experiences. Between 2001 and 2003 my psychic abilities improved very rapidly and it seemed if things kept up I'd be able to manifest and sense almost anything in a short time... However things slowed down and I began to lose interest a little because it was no longer as exciting. I realize (in hindsight) that this was a precursor to a stage where I needed to focus on my personal life and personal growth, balance, and understanding myself better as a person. I feel I'm pretty much done that at this point and ready to go onto the next stage :-)

You are only limited by what you think. Accept wholly your current state. There is nothing to achieve nothing to do that you do not already have. Trust your Inner Guide and resist the need to judge. Its only when you stop striving to gain something that what you seek will make itself known.

Psychic readers vs. Astrologers readers - Which has proved as accurate revelations to queries you asked?

Have you had good experience with either one or both?

AND

Do you find the combinations of these skills (Psychic, Clarivoyant, Astrologer etc.) to prove of greater truth in regards to revelations to your queries or you find it does not make much differences as each to their own has their great revelations?

Well a combination of both would be great of course..
I have to confess that I have had only had one astrological reading by a supposedly "famous" astroger and he was 60/40.

I would put my faith into psychics more. I was more interesting in them than astrology and saw quite a few...but not anymore.

I think maybe a very tiny percentage are real psychics. I only found 2 or 3 who were absolutely amazing..They were not fishing or anything but I found out later that they were true.

I once saw one (never phoned one by the way) in Paranormal Study Society ( or stg like that) in London , UK. I got very upset at the time because all she told me sounded wayyyyyy too unrealistic and too good to be true ( was really in a dump at the time). I got really annoyed and refused to give a donation. Which I regretted later on because all she told actually happened without me SEEKING for it.
Please look it up if you are interested. They are very serious people and test potential psychics extensively beforehand. They do not want frauds.

The best psychics are in the UK I heard......Apparently the damp temperature helps with vibrations or something.

I saw 2 in Canada out of curiosity.......Total sharks and totally fake..so that is why I say no more..
