Psychic Roadshow - Going to get a reading from a Psychic

How does one focus on attaining a goal if there are so many options available.?

I could write a list of the pros and cons of each option, but that's far too practical and I want some other less rational technique, like... consulting a psychic who doesn't ask for money. Any psychics out there?

Life is sometimes (but not always) a hit-or-miss thing, bringing in an amount of luck into the equation. Psychics, even ones gratuitous, embody the very antithesis of the individual - the uncertainty of it all. That's the allure of life, I suppose - the risks, the presence of the possible failures. What's more, not all failures are foreseeable. You win some, you lose some, and that's that.

It's counter-intuitive, the trusting of instincts, the trusting of personal feelings. It's as if knowledge is being subjugated by deceiving sensations, the fact that, since feelings are often discarded in exchange for knowledge (e.g. diet, exercise), are these feelings of destiny not FEELINGS in the first place? And what happens if the single goal one chooses turns out to be wrong?

That is life's trump card, the hold of physics over the freedom of thought. Writing a list of the pros and cons is a good option, but like you said, it's a means of rationality that some can't afford to take. How unfair! It's life.. welcome the strange .

Then again, it's an option up to you.
