Yes of course they are real. Keep in mind psychics do not only tell the future. They can also sense what is going on in your life at the moment, some can sense illnesses, some can communicate with those who have passed on, some can do healing, and so on. The list is endless. Some have multiple skills, some only have one skill.
Also every single person has the ability to be psychic, it just only means to be more aware of everything about yourself and your surroundings. It is not just limited to a select few. It just only takes a sincere desire to learn more about yourself and who you are. When you do that, your intuition just naturally improves over time. It just means you pay more attention to what comes to you and take notice.
Also just because one psychic is a scammer and uses its a form of con for money does not mean that all psychics are scammers. If one doctor is a bad doctor practicing bad medicine, does that mean all doctors are bad? It is just a a matter of using common sense about the person. They should empower you, not make you feel like you are helpless. They should communicate in very loving and a wise way, never in fearful statements. You should also feel good about the reading.
The word psychic has been applied to people who are not even that skilled. The skill level varies from person to person. I've had spontaneous psychic and clairvoyant moments, but I do not call myself psychic because that is a too heavy a responsiblity, and I in no way am going to mislead people with that word, you know what I am saying?
