Spiritual Readings
I am having a hard time getting in touch spiritually so that i can do my tarot readings, what can i do?
i usually try and get in touch with my inner self. i usually say "hello" to my core self and have short conversations and use my left hand when picking the cards because i can feel my inner self in my left hand. but now when i use the cards i cant seem to connect, something wont let me focus or idk i cant get spiritual. also i am curious about the dark side of tarot. what is it? what are the risks?
Yeah sometimes it can be hard especially when life has been geting in the way of your thoughts. it is hard to separate yourself from your own problems. meditation is always the best tools. but the message that the powers that be are trying to tell you is that you really need to handle the things that keep popping into you head instead of the tarot message. (Time needed to be spent on you sometime has to be forced on you) just try to relax and take some time off for a few days. then try meditation again.

Psychic Readings Are They Real
Anyone believe in psychic readings?
A couple people I work with were bragging about readings they'd had that were extremely accurate. I do believe in psychics, but also that only very few are authentic. There are too many fakes out there. Can psychics give exact real dates in readings? If so, I'd like to give it a try? Any info from people who know about this would help! Thanks
I have had some amazing psychic readings
the best one I had told me what my husband had for dinner the night before ... and that he left his peas at the side of the plate ( amongst other things )
there are good psychics , bad psychics ... some just learning so need to start somewhere
but if your friend has given you a reccomendation ... then try that one

There is a magician's trick called the "cold read". The performer is able to start with broad generalized statemenst, and by observing the response by the "mark" is able to narrow his comments down to the point where the "mark" belileves the performer either had prior information or was a psychic. Any decent magician can do it.
Couple that with the flattery, and the telling people what they want to hear, and you can convince a lot of people that you're "connected" to powers that don't exist.
Tell me, though. If they truly could commune with spirits or see the future, why not just predict the next lotto numbers, collect the money and retire? Why do they need to beat some little old lady out of her social security check?
